CONTACT:Karine Emeran305-303-8835[email protected]  FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE SAVE 509 hosts ”Second Annual 7.0 Run/Walk for Amputees in Haiti” May 4, 2011 – North Miami, Fl. – SAVE 509 is proud to host its Second Annual 7K Run/Walk for Amputees in Haiti as an effort to continue the mission of enhancing the quality of life of people with disabilities. Registration is now open. We encourage the entire communities in Miami Dade and Broward County to lace up their running shoes and make a difference on June 4 at North Miami Athletic Stadium. In conjunction with the 7K Run/Walk for Amputees in Haiti we will also have a Power of Unity Festival, which will take place immediately after the race. Both events are a fun-filled family affair which will allow people of all ages to gather and enjoy the entertainments, arts and crafts, novelties, games with the added bonus of an enthusiast soccer game; Haiti’s First National Amputee Soccer Team. These events will commemorate the surviving victims of a tragic historical moment in Haiti, January 12th Earthquake. Proceeds from this event will benefit people with who has lost their limbs and is registered with SEIPH (Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities).  SAVE 509 is a Florida base non-profit organization that is committed to support social integration, while promoting skills developments, as well as providing services in ways that are flexible to meet the needs of people with disabilities. We also serve as the bridge that links the Haitian Diaspora and communities within the United States to personally find a connection with the people we serve. We count on the support of communities to make a difference. “You never know what you can make happen, the more awareness we share the more we all are going to benefit.
